SWAT Team Standoff At Country Villa Estates Off Bloomingdale Avenue
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is on the scene at Country Villa Estates in the Greater Brandon community of Riverview. Word on the street is that the standoff has ended.
Neighbors are in and out of their homes at the Country Villa Estates in Riverview, just west of Brandon on Bloomingdale Avenue, as the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team circles a nearby residence.
A sheriff’s car just drove by as this report is being filed, at around 1:38 p.m. July 19.
The SWAT team truck has taken off and it appears, from neighbor’s comments, that the standoff is over.
