TD Bank To Host Special Olympics Trading Card Day

BRANDON, FL – Hillsborough County residents will have a chance to head to their local TD Bank branch to celebrate some of their local athletes.

TD Bank will host its annual Special Olympics Trading Card Day on Friday, June 9 in four Hillsborough County locations:

• 1018 W. Lumsden Road, Brandon
• 10821 N. Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa
• 2307 W. Kennedy Blvd., Tampa
• 9400 N. 56th St., Temple Terrace

During Trading Card Day, members of the community are invited to local TD Bank Branches to meet Special Olympic athletes participating in this year’s games. The statewide initiative is part of TD Bank’s Special Olympics Fundraising Campaign, which provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

The fundraiser allows employees, customers, friends and family to support the goal of raising more than $1 million for Special Olympics in the states where TD Bank operates. To date, $8.7 million has been raised for Special Olympics programs from Maine to Florida.
