Thanksgiving Schedule For Selmon Expressway Reversible Lanes Announced

TAMPA, FL – Motorists looking to head east out of downtown Tampa will receive a little extra help during the holiday weekend.

The Selmon Expressway Reversible Express Lanes will open eastbound from Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 1 p.m. and will remain open heading eastbound until Monday, Nov. 28 at 6 a.m. At that time, the REL will resume its normal schedule:

• Weekdays at 6 a.m.: Westbound toward Tampa
• Weekdays at 10 a.m.: Split
• Weekdays from 1:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Eastbound toward Brandon
• Friday night through Monday morning: Eastbound toward Brandon

The reversible lane hours are subject to change without notice for maintenance and construction work.
