Troopers Seek Driver Who Fled Crash That Killed Plant City Man
The vehicle was traveling west on U.S. 92 west of Pasadena Drive in Seffner when the right side of the vehicle struck the pedestrian.

SEFFNER, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking information on the driver of a vehicle who struck and killed a 61-year-old Plant City man and then fled the scene.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the vehicle, believed to be a small van or pickup truck, was traveling west on U.S. 92 west of Pasadena Drive in Seffner when the right side of the vehicle struck the pedestrian who was walking along the shoulder of the highway.
After striking the pedestrian, the truck fled west on U.S. 91.

Troopers believe the vehicle has damage to the right headlamp and side mirror.
The Florida Highway Patrol is reminding Floridians about the consequences of leaving the scene of a crash. If involved in a crash, stay at the scene and call for help. Leaving the scene of a crash that results in property damage, injury or death is against the law.
