Video: Suspects Broke into Dover Home While Victims Slept, Deputies Say
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has released video of people using stolen credit cards following a Dover burglary.

BRANDON, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help identifying three people its deputies say may be responsible for breaking into a Dover home while the victims slept.
According to the agency, the burglary occurred sometime between 10:30 p.m. Oct. 10 and 6 a.m. Oct 11. The burglar or burglars got into the Herndon Street home by entering an unlocked vehicle and taking out a garage door opener, an email from the sheriff’s office said.
After getting into the garage, deputies say the person or people went into the home and helped themselves to a laptop, a Fossil watch and a wallet that had credit cards inside. The victims slept through the break-in, the sheriff’s office said.

Around 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 11, deputies say the stolen credit cards started being used in the Brandon area. The cards were swiped for purchases at two Walmart locations, 1208 E. Brandon Blvd. and 11720 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. A card was also used at Plant City’s Tobacco Depot.
Surveillance footage from the stores shows two male suspects and a female using the cards. Anyone who can identify the people in the video are asked to call the sheriff’s office at 813-247-8200. Tips may also be submitted through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-873-TIPS.
