Woman Killed By Train While Sitting On Railroad Tracks In Seffner
The sheriff's office was called on Thursday around 11:20 a.m. when a woman was struck by a train at North Parsons Avenue and MLK Boulevard.

SEFFNER, FL — Hillsborough County sheriff's detectives are investigating the death of a woman who was struck by a train while sitting on some train tracks in Seffner Thursday.
At around 11:20 a.m., the sheriff's office received a 911 call about a person hit by a train near the intersection of South Parsons Avenue just south of West Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
When deputies arrived, they found a woman dead from what appears to be injuries from being struck by a train. Detectives are working with CSX investigators and say there do not appear to be signs of foul play.

"It's heartbreaking to hear another person has lost their life on the tracks," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "While our detectives continue to investigate, please remember to practice safety when you are near and around a train or our county railroads."
