Woman Killed By Car On SR 574: Police
A car smashed into a woman who walked near U.S. 301 Sunday morning. Florida Highway Patrol investigated the wreck.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — A car hit and killed a woman walking on State Road-574 early Sunday morning, Florida Highway Patrol said.
The Miami car drove eastbound on State Road-574 near U.S. Highway 301 at about 1:49 a.m. The 52-year-old South Daytona woman then walked in front of the vehicle and the car smashed into her, investigators said. Medical officials pronounced her dead at a local hospital.
