2 Roads Remain Closed in Carrollwood

Two construction projects in the Carrollwood area will continue to disrupt commutes until later this month. Here are the details motors need to know about:

Lake Le Clare Road

The construction on the Veterans Expressway will keep parts of Lake Le Clare Road closed for most of the next two weeks.

Prince Contracting, the company widening the Veterans Expressway, is scheduled to complete the project by March 25 at 4 a.m. Until then, Lake Le Clare Road from Tobacco Road to Lakeshore Road will remain closed.

The following detour will remain in place until construction ends: From Lake Le Clare Road, take Tobacco Road to Hutchison Road, to Wilcox Road to Lakeshore Road, and back to Lake Le Clare Road.

Northdale Boulevard

Emergency repair work on a water main in Northdale will keep Northdale Boulevard closed for two weeks.

Metro Equipment Service, the company repairing the water main, is scheduled to complete the project by March 24 at 4 p.m. Until then, Northdale Boulevard from Northdale Boulevard’s intersection with itself to Brentwood Park Circle/Rambling Vine Drive West.

The following detour will remain in place until construction ends: From Northdale Boulevard, take East Course Drive to Northdale Boulevard, to Silver Moss Drive to Woodside Manor Drive, back to Northdale Boulevard.
