Donations Needed at Hope Children's Home

Hope Children's Home, a nonprofit organization for abused or neglected children in north Tampa, is seeking donations.

The Home, at 11415 Hope International Drive in Carrollwood, cares for dozens of children at a time, and needs items that range from toiletries to food.

Below are some items that can be donated:

• Gently-used furniture and appliances, such as toasters and TV's
• Food items such as hot dogs, fish sticks, olive oil, ground beef
• Cleaning items such as Pledge, toilet bowl cleaner, tub and shower cleaner
• Health and beauty items such as calamine lotion and Nyquil
