Auditions for 'Goodbye Charlie' Held at Cultural Center

Auditions will be this weekend

This just in from the Carrollwood Cultural Center:

The Carrollwood Cultural Center’s MAS Community Theatre will hold auditions for the comedy Goodbye Charlie on Sunday, July 15 and Monday, July 16 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Center, 4537 Lowell Road in Carrollwood.

Written by George Axelrol, Goodbye Charlie is the story about Charlie, a caddish womanizer with a foul mouth and taste for booze. Killed hightailing it from a lover's husband's yacht, Charlie "returns" as a woman (cigar in hand) and gets a second chance at life and love.  Lauran Becall and Debbie Reynolds played the title role in this knockabout farce by the author of The Seven Year Itch – Becall on Broadway and Reynolds in the 1964 film with Tony Curtis.
