'Goodbye Charlie' Holding Auditions at Cultural Center

The show is in September

The Carrollwood Cultural Center’s MAS Community Theatre will hold auditions for the comedy "Goodbye Charlie" Monday, July 23 and Tuesday, July 24 from 7- 9 p.m. at the Center located at 4537 Lowell Road in Carrollwood.

The cast will include four males and three females, ranging in age from 35 to 55.  Written by George Axelrol, "Goodbye Charlie" is the story about Charlie, a caddish womanizer with a foul mouth and taste for booze. Killed hightailing it from a lover's husband's yacht, Charlie "returns" as a woman (cigar in hand) and gets a second chance at life and love.

The Carrollwood Cultural Center’s MAS Community Theatre will produce the show in partnership with Samuel French, Inc. for two weekends: September 28 through September 30 and October 5 through October 7.
