Hillsborough County Parks Scares Up Some Halloween Fun
Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation has planned a series of spooky events from Halloween movies in the park and skate jams.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — The haunting season is here, and to help residents get into the spirit of the season, Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation has planned a series of spooky events from family-friendly Halloween movies in the park and costume contests to Halloween skate jams and a Halloween dance for adults with disabilities.
Halloween Movies In The Park
Free Halloween movies in the park will take place under the stars at 7:30 p.m.
- Friday, Oct. 29, see "Monsters, Inc." as part of the county's Trunk or Treat Celebration at Ruskin Park & Recreation Center, 901 6th St. S.E., Ruskin.
Trunk Or Treat Celebrations
Trunk or Treat Celebrations will include candy, games, prizes, costume contests and other activities from 6 to 9 p.m.

- Friday, Oct. 29 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Ruskin Park & Recreation Center, 901 6th St., S.E., Ruskin, with a decorated trunk contest, costume contest, parade, candy and prizes.
- Friday, Oct. 29 at the Northdale Park & Recreation Center, 15550 Spring Pine Drive, with a caution tape maze, costume contest, haunted hallway, outdoor carnival-style games, candy and prizes.
Halloween Ball For All
Adults with disabilities are invited to put on their best Halloween costume and hit the dance floor with Friday, Oct. 29 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Brandon Park & Recreation Center.
Halloween Skate Jam
Grab your board and compete against other skaters in the spooktacular Halloween Skate Jam featuring a best truck contest, coffin race and best costume contest.
