Lou Piniella and Todd Schnitt to Meet PDQ Customers
The Carrollwood restaurant opens on Sunday at Stall Road and Dale Mabry.

PDQ, a fast casual restaurant, has announced that its newest location in Carrollwood will officially open on Sunday, August 12 at 11 a.m.

The , located at 12650 N. Dale Mabry Highway in Carrollwood, will be the third PDQ restaurant to open in the Tampa Bay area.
As part of the grand opening celebration, PDQ is scheduled to have meet and greets this Sunday with Lou Piniella and Todd Schnitt, also known as MJ. Piniella, a Tampa native, is a former Major League baseball player and manager who won two World Series titles as an outfielder for the New York Yankees and also led the Cincinnati Reds to the 1990 World Series championship as their manager. Schnitt is a nationally syndicated radio personality who is based out of Tampa.

Schnitt will be at PDQ from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. to meet customers, while Piniella will be at the restaurant from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. on Sunday.
A fourth PDQ location is scheduled to open in St. Petersburg in late September. Two more restaurants are scheduled to open in the upcoming months in Raleigh (NC) and Charlotte (NC).
