Hillsborough County officials are still taking public comment regarding a trail extension at Ballyhoo Grill in Citrus Park after some residents expressing opinions during a May 30 meeting on the issue. Residents have until Friday, June 15, to submit comments about the , which proposes use of a limited crossing of the Upper Tampa Bay Trail to connect the restaurant's parking lots. The proposal also suggests using a portion of the trail right-of-way for parking. "We are going to take a synopsis of public comment for the Board of County Commissioners," said Steve Valdez, county spokesman. "It will go in late July, or the first meeting in August."
