Teen Sought In Death Of Man Found In Yard
Hillsborough deputies are looking for a 17-year-old boy in connection with a March 30 homicide in the Forest Hills area.
TAMPA, FL — An arrest warrant has been issued for a 17-year-old boy in connection with a homicide that occurred in the Forest Hills area earlier this week. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Sigfredo Espinel, whose last known addresses were in Lakeland and Tampa, is wanted in connection with the crime.
Deputies have not said how Espinel has been connected to Jose E. Zarragoitia’s death. The 23-year-old man’s body was discovered in the backyard of a home in the 12000 block of North Oregon Avenue around 8:46 a.m. March 30.
Details regarding the cause of death have not yet been released.

Espinel is described as standing 6-foot-2 and weighs an estimated 200 pounds. He has numerous tattoos on his neck and arms, according to deputies. Espinel is believed to be driving a 2011 Porsche Cayenne SUV.
Anyone with information about Espinel’s whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 813-247-8200. Tips may also be submitted through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-873-TIPS or by going online to www.crimestopperstb.com. Tips submitted through Crime Stoppers by be eligible for a reward of up to $3,000.
