• Bearss Groves market temporary closed, in transition for new tenant (tampabeacon.com) — Bearss Groves market in Carrollwood is temporarily closed while owner Barry Lawrance searches for new tenants after hurricanes and health challenges pushed him toward farming. He’s now focused on Weck Farms in nearby Lutz, offering convenient U-pick strawberries so families don’t have to drive to Plant City. The Carrollwood site may return with a fresh concept, possibly like Starkey Market, but there’s no firm reopening date yet.
