Elevation Coffee Roasters
4952 Northdale Boulevard
Tampa

This little slice of coffee goodness is located in a neighborhood strip mall, within walking distance of so many houses it feels quite like going to have coffee at a friend’s house.

Quality and pricing of food and drink:
Not a lot of options, a few pastries. It takes a while to make and if I’m being honest, not very worth the wait. Eat before you come. Coffee menu has the basic coffee options—latte, americana, espresso—and teas. No caramel, no blended. Strictly for everyday classic coffee drinkers. Prices are comparable, $5 for a small.

Are there enough outlets?
There are a few and if you come during the week, non-peak, between 10-1, you’ll most likely get one.

How’s the wifi?
Cute little connection name of “buy coffee and breakfast,” password protected.

Will my muse come out?
Maybe. The door is open so the nature sounds are nice, but then the temperature inside is a little too hot. Today’s soundtrack is something by The Tragically Hip, not my cup of coffee, so a little annoying for this writer. They sweetened my tea for me which I asked them not to do, so although the staff is friendly they are a little too helpful. If I’m going to write something snarky today, my muse is at the ready. Otherwise, she’s going somewhere else.

How long can I park it?
As long as you can stand. And unless they change the music, about maybe fifteen more minutes.

Final rating: 2 out of 5 laptops
