Very Berry Brunch
19255 N Dale Mabry Hwy
Lutz
This is in a strip mall that also boasts Publix, an Italian restaurant and a Sushi/Chinese/Japanese eatery, not to mention a pet store/grooming salon. Gems, all, but how does Very Berry treat the writer? Well you came to the write place to find out.
Quality and pricing of food and drink:
This place is expensive; orange juice will run you $7 a glass. It’s freshly squeezed Florida orange juice and tastes like you pierced an orange with a straw, but such quality costs money. The waffle was delicious, ditto the Florentine benny, eggs poached to perfection. I don’t want to tell you how much I spent.

Are there enough outlets?
There are, and they’re quite oddly placed, behind and above your booth seat in the middle of the wall. So if you can’t get over the dangling cord thing, come fully charged.
How’s the wifi?
No wifi, which is the one travesty at these prices. Throw a writer a bone.

Will my muse come out?
Maybe. She might want to just eat and chat and then head over to Publix. A great brunch experience, but maybe not so much a place to world build.
How long can I park it?
I’m sure they wouldn’t mind if you parked for a while (they close at 3pm) but after a bit you’ll be craving a more inspiring venue.
Final rating: 2.5 out of 5 laptops (this is only as a writing spot. The food and service were excellent, a big fat 5 stars)
