It’s called Revelations for a reason: lots of Jesus vibes, scripture on the wall, wholesome, healthy, vegan food. But how does it rate for a writer? Well, let me tell you:

Quality and pricing of food and drink:

Expensive. An egg and cheese sandwich cost me $11; there was $1.80 upcharge on the eggs because of inflation. Never had that happen before. I thought only lobsters were market value. The sandwich was fresh, tasted pretty good. If you want a breakfast burrito it’ll cost you $16. Probably more because it has eggs. If you want coffee and a cold drink with your food expect to pay $30. The selections are great, just make sure it’s a good pay week.

Are there enough outlets?

The outlets are clustered on a wall that has no tables near it, so the cords will extend across the room, i.e., tripping hazard.

How’s the wifi?

Password protected with the word “Love” in it. Then you’re up and running with ease.

Will my muse come out?

Yes. The atmosphere is friendly and clean, wide and sunny, and the staff are attentive without being bothersome. One unique thing that may stimulate her is the question on the table. There’s a laminated card at every table that asks a question and provides pencils and a pad of paper for you to write down your answer. If there’s several in your party they encourage you to discuss them. Note: There is a kid-friendly section with toys so maybe pick a downtime day if you find children distracting.

How long can I park it?

They close at 4:00 so at least until then. There’s plenty of seating, but the chairs aren’t overly comfortable. There is some bench seating so if you plan on settling in for a while you may want to sit there.

Final rating: 3 out of 5 laptops
