This location is a Super Walmart and they are huge. Their in-house eatery of choice is a Subway. Here’s how it stacks up.

Quality and pricing of food and drink:

Basic Subway pricing without the quality. I got a cold cut combo and the meat was grey; every piece looked like liverwurst, and no ham. I think it was all salami and bologna. I asked her for the pinker meat beneath the grey slices. Yes, I took two bites (!), wasted the rest, not looking to get sick, even for my craft.

Are there enough outlets?

Not one that I could find.

How’s the wifi?

Will my muse come out?

Maybe. It depends on how committed you are. You may have to do this one without her.

How long can I park it?

The store closes at 11:00, the Subway probably around 8:00, but you won’t last beyond an hour or at least long enough to complete something for a deadline. The atmosphere is pleasant enough, but it’s got all the aesthetic of a regular old tables and chairs, sit down and eat and get out place. Maybe it’s where you’ll wait for your person to finish their shopping. Tip: just get a soda and chips. At least I’ll get some paper towels and TP before I leave.

Final rating: 2 out of 5 laptops
