Any excuse to go to Midtown, I’m there. This Wholefoods is one of the best, with several food bars and two large seating areas—inside and out—in which you can sit and enjoy.

Quality and pricing of food and drink:

Please. It’s Wholefoods. Which means a full small container of mashed potatoes and chicken tiki masala ran me $17.41. Yep. Now it’s delicious and hot and fresh as all get-out, but food here goes by weight; potatoes and masala gravy are apparently quite heavy. The same container with a salad in it would probably be around $10. Thank God they have a water fountain.

Are there enough outlets?

Yes, plenty along the counter seating area.

How’s the wifi?

Wholefoods guest wifi.

Will my muse come out?

Yes. There are plenty of writers here, the room is bright and spacious. And it’s Midtown! Tampa lifestyle at its finest.

How long can I park it?

A long time indeed. And no matter how crowded Midtown gets, I’ve always been able to find a decent parking space. When you’re finished writing inside, you may want to move outside and people watch, take in the scenery. You might want some chocolates from William Dean or bath balm from Buff City. You may sigh with regret when it’s time to go home. Unless you live in Midtown. Then yay for you!

Final rating: 5 out of 5 laptops
