One of my absolute favorite roads in Tampa is the Courtney Campbell Causeway. The building, the businesses, the bay, the view, all of it so uplifting and magical. To me it just speaks of the beauty of Tampa. It wasn’t easy to find once the GPS dumped me off in the parking lot, but it’s the big building with all the windows and the elevated walkway, across from the residential yellow building.
Quality and pricing of food and drink:
Standard. A little over $12 for a croissant sandwich, breakfast potatoes and apple juice. The sandwich was so-so, but the potatoes were delicious, didn’t require any extra seasoning.

Will my muse come out?
With one entire wall made of glass featuring a spectacular view of the bay, how could she not? Although you might spend more time staring out over the water and daydreaming than actually writing.
How long can I park it?
Until 2pm, but this isn’t much of a lingering place. The vibe is laid-back business, as in you’ll be comfortable and successful conducting your business here, tapping out that short story, sending those emails, but the great outdoors are calling louder than your muse, urging you to do something other than sit inside banging away on a computer.
