144-Room AC Hotel Clearwater Beach Officially Opens Doors

The 144-room AC Hotel Clearwater Beach provides water views from its guest rooms and from Soirée, a Mediterranean-themed rooftop space.

CLEARWATER BEACH, FL — AC Hotel Clearwater Beach officially opened its doors Wednesday, bringing the popular brand to Florida’s west coast.

Framed by top-rated Clearwater Beach and the Gulf of Mexico to the west and the Intracoastal Waterway to the east, the 144-room AC Hotel Clearwater Beach provides water views from its guest rooms and from Soirée, a Mediterranean-themed rooftop gathering space where guests can enjoy nightly artisan libations and fare from the 10th floor.

To celebrate its opening, AC Hotel Clearwater Beach has announced a special “Try Our New Hotel” promotion that includes 20 percent off standard rates, which start at approximately $259 per night based on a minimum stay of two nights, and is available through Sept. 30.

The hotel offers hydration stations with purified drinking water available on every guest floor, nightly storytelling of "Tate’s Hurricane" in the AC Lounge, and the Good Night & Sleep Well lavender turn-down station.

The hotel’s open AC Kitchen serves a European-inspired breakfast, including made-to-order cage-free egg or vegan options of 0pen-faced toast or Cazuela (a baked egg specialty), hand-shaved prosciutto, freshly baked croissants imported from France and made-to-order Nespresso.

In the hotel’s lobby, guests can connect over Spanish-style tapas and shareable plates at the AC Lounge, with a curated assortment of local craft beers, handcrafted cocktails and select wines.

On the fifth floor, guests can relax at Umbra, a poolside retreat serving frozen cocktails, draft beers and other beverages, along with a menu of wraps, flatbread, sliders and salads.

Hotel common spaces are dressed in a modern Florida style while guest rooms feature a spacious and flexible open design with an earth-tone palette, simple décor and nearly floor-to-ceiling windows.

The hotel also features a library-focused workspace, resort-style pool, media salon for meetings for up to five, and a 24-hour fitness center.
