$17.5 Million Clearwater Estate for Sale
Powerboat racer Hugh Fuller has put his historic Clearwater Bay estate on the market. Take a look inside the mansion.
Tampa Bay's most expensive home for sale is located right here in Clearwater.
The Tampa Bay Times is reporting that powerboat racer Hugh Fuller is selling the historic Century Oaks estate, the priciest property on Tampa Bay's real estate market.
According to Zillow.com, this 30,000-square-foot estate has commanding water views, as it was built on a bluff. (See the complete real estate listing here.)
With 14 bedrooms and 16.5 bathrooms, this place will not only house the new owners in opulence but also their entourage – family, friends, associates and assorted hangers-on.
The new owners may need a map and golf cart to get around, as the estate boasts a main house, north house, two pools, tennis court, basketball court, carriage house and boat docks.
The property is 3.45 acres, with brick pathways, 500-year-old oak trees, fountains, a historic bell tower (not a joke), gazebo and, of course, the views of Clearwater Bay.
The home has two guest wings, formal and informal dining and living spaces, a library, theater room, music studio, sun room, trophy room and ballroom "that opens to the expansive terraces providing outdoor entertainment and splendid view of the lavish grounds," according to the real estate listing.
Take a look. Is it worth the price?
