Air Pollution Advisory Issued In Pinellas Due To Elevated Ozone Levels
This is due to the presence of a stable air mass, light winds, high temperatures, dry air conditions and a high-pressure system.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — The Pinellas County Air Quality Section of Public Works has issued an air pollution advisory due to elevated levels of the pollutant ozone.
The advisory issued Friday remains in effect through Saturday.
The county anticipates high-moderate levels of ozone with Air Quality Index values from 51 to 100 with the potential of climbing to 101 to 150, according to current models.

People sensitive to ozone or those with lung disease or asthma should consider reducing prolonged outdoor exertion.
