Child Porn Possession Charge Filed Against Clearwater Man: U.S. DOJ
A Clearwater man faces time in federal prison for shipping and possessing child sexual abuse materials, the U.S. Department of Justice said.
CLEARWATER, FL — A Clearwater man was charged with transportation of child sexual abuse material and possession of child sexual abuse material.
If convicted on all counts, Brian McArdle, 34, faces up to 20 years in federal prison, according to a U.S. Department of Justice news release.
From Jan. 1, 2023, through April 2, 2024, McArdle transported, shipped and possessed the visual depiction of the sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12, the DOJ said.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation as part of Project Safe Childhood.
