Clearwater Apartment Fire Ruled Arson
Clearwater Fire & Rescue says a Wednesday blaze at an abandoned apartment complex was intentionally set.
CLEARWATER, FL – A Wednesday evening fire that ripped through the former Woodlawn Terrace Apartments in Clearwater has been ruled arson.
According to Clearwater Fire & Rescue, the blaze at 826 Woodlawn St. broke out just before 5:30 p.m. June 21. The fire was brought under control quickly with no injuries reported.
The two-story apartment complex that contains eight units was completely abandoned at the time of the fire, officials reported Thursday. The building had no power or water going to it, officials noted in an email to media.

Details about the arson are not being released at this time. Officials, however, are asking anyone with information about who might have started the fire to contact them.
