Clearwater Bank Robber Suspect Sought
The suspect allegedly demanded cash from a teller at the Bank of America, 1911 North Belcher Rd., in Clearwater.
Clearwater police are searching for a suspect wearing a Nike baseball cap who allegedly robbed the Bank of America, at 1911 North Belcher Rd., Wednesday afternoon.
According to police the man walked into the bank at about 12:45 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, and handed the teller a note demanding money.
Surveillance camera picked up images of the suspect, who wore black sunglasses, a tan Nike baseball cap. black T-shirt and blue jeans. He fled the scene on foot. The image of the man indicates that he is middle-aged.
The investigation continues.
