Clearwater Ferry Expansion Offers Extra Day Of Service: PSTA
The Clearwater Ferry is offering expanded service Thursday through Sunday, the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority said.

CLEARWATER, FL — The Clearwater Ferry, in a partnership with the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority, expanded its service connecting downtown Clearwater and Clearwater Beach, according to a PSTA news release.
The expansion includes a new day of service, allowing the ferry to operate Thursday through Sunday. Previously, the ferry ran Friday through Sunday, PSTA officials said.

PSTA and Clearwater city officials boarded the ferry Friday afternoon for the maiden voyage of its extended service.
The expansion is “a vital step in Clearwater’s post-Hurricane Milton recovery,” transit officials said.

PSTA added, “This eco-friendly transit option enhances access to destinations like Coachman Park and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, supports local businesses, reduces traffic, and offers residents and visitors a scenic and memorable way to travel."
A Dunedin stop for the ferry service is planned down the road, though there is no set date yet as the docks were destroyed by hurricanes in the fall.
