$1M-Winning Powerball Ticket Sold At FL Grocery Store: Reports
The Powerball jackpot has jumped to $1.1B for Monday night's drawing, lottery officials said.
CLEARWATER, FL — While nobody took home the billion-dollar jackpot in Saturday’s Powerball drawing, someone in Florida still won big.
A $1 million-winning ticket was sold at a Clearwater Publix ahead of the drawing, WFLA reported.
The winner bought a Quick Pick ticket at the store, located at 525 S. Belcher Road, the Miami Herald said.

The $1 million-winning ticket matched all five white balls in Saturday’s drawing — 1, 28, 31, 57 and 58 — according to the Florida Lottery website.
It didn’t match the sixth number, 24, on the red Powerball, though.

Four other tickets sold nationwide also won $1 million by matching the five white balls. These tickets were sold in California, Minnesota, New Jersey and Virginia, according to the Powerball website.
Two $2 million-winning tickets were also sold, in North Carolina and Pennsylvania, Powerball officials said. These tickets matched all five white balls and also had the added Power Play to multiply winnings.
The Powerball jackpot has jumped to $1.1 billion as of Monday morning.
The next drawing will take place Monday at 10:59 p.m. from the Florida Lottery draw studio in Tallahassee.
