Clearwater Firm Agrees to Payout in Phone 'Cramming' Case
Family911.com is settling with consumers who allegedly were charged for services they did not agree to, according to the Missouri Attorney General.

A Clearwater company is among three businesses that have agreed to pay out $296,391 to consumers in Missouri who had unauthorized charges on home phone lines.
According to OzarksFirst.com, the Missouri State Attorney General reached a settlement with Familycontact911.com of Clearwater as well as Coast to Coast Voice of New Hampshire and Green Certification of Miami.
The Missouri Attorney General alleges that the companies engaged in a practice known as "cramming," which enrolls consumers in products or services and bills them without their consent.
