Clearwater to Host Electronic Waste Disposal Event

Residents can bring unwanted electronics to the Solid Waste & Recycling Facility.

CLEARWATER, FL – Clearwater residents looking to get rid of that old television or broken down computer will have a place to bring them next week.

The City of Clearwater will host a free electronic waste disposal event on Wednesday, July 27 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Solid Waste & Recycling Facility, 1701 N. Hercules Ave.

Clearwater residents with proof of residence, such as a current utility bill or a valid driver’s license, can bring unwanted electronics to the recycling drop-off center for free disposal.

Hazardous electronics will be accepted including televisions, monitors, laptops, power supplies, CPUs, cell phones and other devices with rechargeable batteries.
