Clearwater Police Department to Celebrate National Night Out

The annual celebration brings police and communities together across the nation.

CLEARWATER, FL – The Clearwater Police Department would like to invite area residents for a night out on the town.

The department will host its annual National Night Out celebration on Tuesday, Oct. 4 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Super Target parking log of Clearwater Mall. Super Target, Lowe’s and Costco – as well as the Clearwater Police Department and other local partners – will present an evening of neighborhood safety awareness, giveaways and free food and drinks.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police and community partnerships, as well as neighborhood camaraderie, to make neighborhoods safer and better places to live. It was established in 1984 by the U.S. Department of Justice and administered by the National Association of Town Watch.
