UPDATE: Images of Suspected Bank Robber Released by Police
Clearwater Police say the man wore a hat and jacket that have "detailed markings" on them. Do you recognize him?

Clearwater Police have released security images of a man who they say robbed a Missouri Avenue bank at gunpoint Thursday morning.
The suspect entered the City County Employees Credit Union, 719 Missouri Ave., at about 9:26 a.m. armed with a black firearm, police said.

The man ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash and headed north.
He is described as a black man about 6-foot-2 with a medium build. He was wearing a tan jacket and a hat that have "detailed markings on
them" that may be recognizable, according to police.

There was no description of a possible vehicle used in the robbery, authorities said.

Earlier:
Police are investigating an armed robbery of a Missouri Avenue credit union Thursday morning.
A black man with a gun entered the City County Employees Credit Union, 719 S Missouri Ave. around 9:26 a.m., according to Rob Shaw, Clearwater Police spokesman.
The suspect then fled the scene north wearing a tan jacket, according to investigators.
"It is not known at this time if he received any money or not," Shaw said in a release.
No one was injured, according to police.
The suspect is described as six foot, two inches tall with a medium build.
