Coast Guard Visits Clearwater Preschool

Frank J. Toal, a local Coast Guard Auxiliary member and his son, Ian, preformed a boating safety demonstration for the children at Cornerstone Preschool in Clearwater, Wednesday. 

According to a U.S. Coast Guard news release, "the purpose of the event was to educate the students about Coast Guard roles, pollution prevention and how to keep safe when out in the water. The children were also able to view a life jacket fitting demonstration."  

"I now know to always wear my life jacket when out in the water," said Anthony, a student at the school, according to a news release.
