Community Service Foundation Hosts 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic
Clearwater's Community Service Foundation will host its 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic September 17 in Largo.

CLEARWATER, Fla. - The Community Service Foundation (CSF) is pleased to announce its 21th Annual Charity Golf Classic on September 15, 2016, at the Bayou Country Club, 7979 Bayou Club Boulevard, Largo, FL. This annual fundraising event supports CSF's goal of transforming our community through supporting a healthy living environment.
In an effort to improve Clearwater's public safety, CSF co-founded the Crime Prevention Initiative along with the following mission partners: Clearwater Police Department, the Pinellas County Housing Authority, the Lake Bellevue Community Association, the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Family and Youth Initiative Inc. and the Clearwater Recreation Department-Ross Norton Recreation and Aquatic Complex.

The Annual Charity Golf Classic is titled "Chip in for Your Neighbor" and includes local personality and emcee, Reginald Roundtree, former policeman and WTSP news anchor, and Clearwater Chief of Police, Chief Daniel Slaughter.
Check-in begins at 11 a.m. followed by lunch and a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Golf participants will enjoy a reception and awards dinner provided by Source1Solutions, honoring local Clearwater community liaison officers. In addition, select participants will shoot a $1 million hole-in-one shot and enter a $5,000 putting contest. All event proceeds will benefit the Crime Prevention Initiative in partnership with the Clearwater Police Department.
