Courtney Campbell Trail Back in Business
Breaking: Debris left behind by Hurricane Hermine forced a temporary closing of the Courtney Campbell Trail.

CLEARWATER, FL — Folks who are eager to hit the Courtney Campbell Trail to stretch their legs and soak up the sun have an official all clear to do so. The city of Clearwater announced Wednesday afternoon the trail had reopened.
The trail was closed off to users after Hurricane Hermine blew through the area last Friday. Debris along the path created a public safety concern, prompting the city to close the stretch until cleanup crews could get to work.
The city’s parks and recreation department pitched in to make the trail user friendly once more, the city noted on Facebook.
