Florida American Legion Post To Ban NFL TV Games On Sunday
The American Legion Post in Madeira Beach is banning NFL games from post TVs this Sunday because of the national anthem controversy.

MADEIRA BEACH, FL - The American Legion Post in Madeira Beach is holding its own protest Sunday, banning NFL games from all the post’s TVs because of players kneeling during the national anthem. And that will include the Bucs game against the New York Jets.
The post's NFL boycott will take place on Veterans Day weekend. Post Commander Jim White said the building is usually packed on Sunday for football games, but he is sticking with the decision.
“No sports channels. The only thing you’ll see on that TV [is] the marathon of M*A*S*H and [the] American History Channel. That will be it,” White told News Channel 8.

“Celebration of the veterans. We’re gonna boycott the NFL because of what they’re doing to the veterans organization,” said White.
As for future NFL Sundays, White said the membership will decide.
