Florida Senator Appointed President, CEO Of Hope Villages Of America
Sen. Nick DiCeglie will play a vital role in guiding its strategic direction and driving positive change within the Tampa Bay area.

CLEARWATER, FL — Hope Villages of America, a leading nonprofit organization in the Tampa Bay area that provide food and housing to the needy and support to domestic violence victims, announced the appointment of Florida Sen. Nick DiCeglie, R-St. Petersburg, as its new president and CEO.
As the nonprofit enters a pivotal phase of growth and expansion, DiCeglie will play a vital role in guiding its strategic direction and driving positive change within the Tampa Bay area.
With a track record of leadership in the executive and government sectors, DiCeglie brings a wealth of experience in creating sustainable solutions to address the needs of the community.

Prior to this position, DiCeglie served as the president of Solar Sanitation, as a Florida state representative and currently as a Florida senator. In 2019, DiCeglie partnered with Hope Villages of America and Spectrum to ensure Pinellas County residents were ready and equipped with hurricane kits. DiCeglie has dedicated his career to championing social causes and empowering vulnerable populations.

In the upcoming months, DiCeglie will concentrate on cultivating strategic partnerships, enhancing existing programs, and implementing innovative solutions to address the community's needs. Under his guidance, Hope Villages of America aims to establish a sustainable future where all those in need have access to nutritious food, secure and stable housing and live free from abuse.
"Nick DiCeglie approaches everything he does with a servant’s heart, putting the needs of his community first, always,” said Senate President Kathleen Passidomo.“As the next president and CEO of Hope Villages of America, I am confident he will lead with the same compassion and determination he has in the Florida Senate.”
There will be a meet-and-greet open to the public with DiCeglie on July 20 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Hope Villages of America, 1403 N. Fort Harrison Ave., Clearwater.
Established in 1967, Hope Villages of America is a registered 501(c)(3) organization that operates through three integrated divisions: Food Distribution & Basic Needs, Housing Stability Services and Abuse Services.
These divisions operate in more than 60,000 square feet of service space and serve more than 150,000 people annually.
The Abuse Services Division provides a range of services to survivors of abuse, including crisis intervention, counseling and legal advocacy.
The organization also works to increase awareness of the issue of abuse and to develop strategies to prevent it from occurring in the first place.
