Gas Test To Close All Lanes Of U.S. 19's Northbound Frontage Road
Florida Gas Transmission Co. announced its plan to test 3.1 miles of natural gas pipeline using water on Monday.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL, — Florida Gas Transmission Co. announced its plan to test 3.1 miles of natural gas pipeline using water on Monday, as part of its ongoing pipeline safety management program.
The test will take place from midnight to 4 a.m.
The pipeline runs along the U.S. 19 Northbound Frontage Road from north of Nursery Road to north of State Road 688/Ulmerton Road in Pinellas County.

The following road and lane closures will occur during the test:
- All movements to access U.S. 19 Northbound Frontage Road from south of Whitney Road to north of State Road 688 Ulmerton Road.
- All movements to access U.S. 19 Northbound Frontage Road at State Road 686/East Bay Drive/Roosevelt Boulevard.
- Right turn lane of U.S. 19 Northbound Frontage Road to head eastbound on State Road 686/Roosevelt Boulevard.
- Northbound U.S. 19 off-ramp to State Road 686/East Bay Drive/Roosevelt Boulevard.
- 150th Avenue at U.S. 19 Northbound Frontage Road.
- All lanes of northbound State Road 693/66th Street between U.S. 19 Northbound Frontage Road and U.S. 19 Southbound Frontage Road.
- Left turn lane of U.S. 19 Southbound Frontage Road between southbound StateRoad 693/66th Street and northbound State Road 693/66th Street.
- One to two of two northbound lanes of State Road 693/66th Street between U.S. 19 Southbound Frontage Road and 142nd Avenue.
- 142nd Avenue at U.S. 19 Northbound Frontage Road.
- Northbound U.S. 19 off-ramp to 150th Avenue.
Any integrity issues identified during the test will be corrected before undergoing additional testing.
