Here's How Clearwater Will Commemorate Veterans Day

CLEARWATER, FL — City of Clearwater offices, libraries and some recreation centers will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10 in honor of Veterans Day.

Clearwater’s Solid Waste & Recycling collections will occur as regularly scheduled.

The community is invited to celebrate Veterans Day with a ceremony organized by the Veterans Alliance of Florida on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Crest Lake Park.

There will be live music featuring the Soul Circus Cowboys and the guest speaker will be SFC Steven Hill of the 7th Special Forces Group.

The city of Clearwater will also be awarded recertification status as a Coast Guard City.
