Hurricane Irma: Clearwater Postpones Events
The City of Clearwater has postponed several events that were set to take place this weekend in the wake of Hurricane Irma.

CLEARWATER, FL – The City of Clearwater is looking to get the word out that several events that were scheduled to take place this weekend have been postponed because of the effects of Hurricane Irma.
The following events in Clearwater have been postponed:
Friday, Sept. 15
- Rock the Ribbon 10K, 5K and Kids Dash – Postponed, new date TBD
Saturday, Sept. 16
- Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers 5K – Postponed, new date TBD
- Make a Difference Adult Fishing Tournament – Postponed, new date TBD
Sunday, Sept. 17
- Sammy Hagar and the Circle at Coachman Park – Postponed, new date TBD

The Pierce Street Market, set for Saturday, Sept. 16 from 9 a.m. or 1 p.m., is still scheduled to take place under the Memorial Causeway Bridge behind City Hall. The market will accept donations to help hurricane relief during the event. Visit www.PierceStreetMarket.com for more information.
