Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Among Top Convention Spaces In South

CLEARWATER, FL — Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa has received the 2022 Readers’ Choice Award from ConventionSouth magazine, a leading resource for meeting and event planners. This is the ninth consecutive year the resort has received this prestigious recognition.

ConventionSouth’s Readers’ Choice Awards are selected by an online nomination process and reader survey. While more than 4,000 convention and visitors bureaus and venues were nominated this year, only 416 were selected as winners based on the votes of more than 8,500 readers and fans.

The resort’s signature outdoor venue is the 4,000-square-foot Sky Terrace which provides a rooftop setting with panoramic views of the Intercoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico.

Planners can also opt for the Caladesi Room which features a 2,500-square-foot adjoining terrace for indoor/outdoor functions. Indoor spaces include the 4,000-square-foot Aqualea Ballroom that can be separated into three individual meeting spaces; the 3,000-square-foot Belleair Room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Gulf; the Bayview Room; and the Madeira, Siesta Key, Sand Key and Longboat Key breakout rooms for smaller events or presentations.

After a day of sessions, meeting attendees can relax at the hotel’s heated rooftop pool or recharge at the on-site Sandava Spa which features signature treatments inspired by the seaside setting, including a warm shell massage and the sun repair soother facial.

Guests can also experience Latin-inspired cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, games and a custom pool table at the resort’s Tropico Rooftop Cantina with views of Clearwater Beach.

The resort also provides fresh seafood straight from the Gulf at the award-winning SHOR American Seafood Grill; an extensive beverage list and light bites in a bar setting at OffSHOR; and grab-and-go options in the on-site market.

Additionally, attendees have access to the world-famous white sandy beach. Groups can enjoy excursions to the world-renowned Clearwater Marine Aquarium, fish from the popular Pier 60 and explore the popular Beach Walk path featuring attractions and beachside shops.
