Imagine Clearwater Project Hits Major Construction Milestone

CLEARWATER, FL — More than 100 dignitaries, city of Clearwater staff, construction team members from Skanska and design team members from Stantec attended a topping-out ceremony Friday for the Imagine Clearwater project.

The ceremony celebrated the placement of the highest construction piece of the project on the canopy top of the new 4,000-seat bandshell coming to Coachman Park.

Attendees had the chance to sign the canopy piece before it was placed on the highest point of the structure, honoring construction workers who have logged more than 150,000 work hours on the project.

The $84 million Imagine Clearwater project is slated to be completed in July.
