Jazz, Blues, Soul On Tap For 3-Day 43rd Annual Clearwater Jazz Holiday
Lovers of jazz, soul, rock, blues and R&B will enjoy three headliners Friday and Saturday and four on Sunday.

CLEARWATER, FL — While the venue has changed, organizers are jazzed up about the lineup for the 43rd annual Clearwater Jazz Holiday.
Diverted from its usual venue at Coachman Park due to the ongoing construction to transform the park into Imagine Clearwater, this year's festival will take place Friday through Sunday at Baycare Ballpark, 601 N Old Coachman Road, Clearwater.
Lovers of jazz, soul, rock, blues and R&B will enjoy three headliners Friday and Saturday and four on Sunday.

True to its original mission when the nonprofit Clearwater Jazz Holiday was formed more than four decades ago, the festival promotes the love of jazz and other music genres while raising funds for initiatives raises funds to provide music education to youngsters of all ages, socio-economic backgrounds and abilities.
Throughout the year, the Clearwater Jazz Holiday staff, headed by CEO Steve Weinberger, provides interactive, musical presentations featuring local musicians to schools, community centers, senior care center and organizations serving children who are disadvantaged or have special needs, educating them on the culture and history of this uniquely American music genre.
As of 2020, more than 30,000 students have been introduced to jazz through Clearwater Jazz Holiday's outreach programs.
Among them is the History of Jazz Outreach Program produced by Clearwater Jazz Holiday education partner Frank Williams.
Williams developed a music mentoring program in a unique game format that teaches students about important people, place and music that shaped the history of jazz.
It began as a pilot effort at the Clearwater Neighborhood Family Center and has grown to serve a number of after-school and summer programs for economically challenged and underserved communities. hers including the Mattie Williams, High Point, Union Academy and Sanderlin neighborhood family centers, the Greater Regional Area Youth Development Initiative and the Pinellas Sheriff's Police Athletic League.
Clearwater Jazz Holiday also provides one-of-a-kind instruction for Bay area jazz students through its Young Lions program, which offers group clinics, master class sessions and performance opportunities involving university jazz educators and local jazz professionals.
