Man Hit, Killed By School Bus While Crossing Road: Pinellas County Sheriff
There were two students on the school bus at the time of the crash in Oldsmar, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.

OLDSMAR, FL — An 88-year-old man died after being hit by a school bus while crossing a road in Oldsmar on Wednesday morning, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
The bus driver, 75-year-old Timothy Mullin of Palm Harbor, was turning left from Pine Avenue onto Forrest Lakes Boulevard when he hit the pedestrian around 7:45 a.m.
The victim, Julio Cobaich, was crossing Forrest Lakes Boulevard from north to south in the crosswalk when he was hit, the sheriff’s office said.

Cobaich was brought to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Speed and impairment don’t appear to be factors in the crash, investigators said.

Mullins and two children who were on the bus at the time were uninjured.
