Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Gulf to Bay Blvd. Crash in Clearwater
A Harley Davidson crashed into a Chevy on Gulf to Bay Boulevard on Thursday night, a public safety official said.

A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a car pulled in front of him on Gulf to Bay Boulevard in Clearwater on Thursday night, officials said.
The crash happened around 7:51 p.m. at Gulf to Bay and Numbus Avenue, according to investigators.
A four-door Chevrolet exited the parking lot at 2045 Gulf to Bay Blvd. and proceeded across the eastbound lanes into the median. The driver then proceeded across the westbound lanes in an attempt to head north on Nimbus.

That's when the Harley Davidson motorcycle crashed into the rear right of the Chevy, officials said. The motorcyclist, Kenneth W. Talamine, 62, was not wearing a helmet at the time.
Dupont was taken to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, public safety spokesperson Elizabeth Watts said.

It's not known if alcohol was a factor in the crash. Blood test results are pending.
No charges have been filed at this time against the driver of the Chevy, 64-year-old Raymond A. Dupont.
The investigation is ongoing.
