New ALDI Clearwater Grocery Store Celebrates Grand Opening

On track to become the third-largest grocer nationwide, ALDI is adding five new stores in Tampa Bay.

CLEARWATER, FL — ALDI is significantly investing in the Tampa area, opening five new stores this year, including one in Clearwater at 2150 Gulf to Bay Blvd. on Thursday morning.

Store officials and customers celebrated the new store's ribbon-cutting at 8 a.m. followed by gift cards to the first 100 customers and a sweepstakes for a chance to win a $500 ALDI gift card.

The Clearwater ALDI joins the new Lakewood Ranch store, which opened in July, and Lutz, Bradenton and Lakeland stores by the end of the year.
