Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival Volunteers Sought
The Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival is seeking volunteers to assist with the return of the eighth annual event on Clearwater Beach April 8-24.

CLEARWATER, FL — The Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival presented by Visit St. Pete-Clearwater is seeking volunteers to assist with the return of the eighth annual event on Clearwater Beach April 8-24.
Volunteer opportunities range from merchandise sales to greeting guests.

- Complimentary sand ambassador T-shirt
- Complimentary meal (valid only after completion of shift)
- Complimentary transportation from downtown Clearwater
- Access to the Sugar Sand Walk Exhibit the day of the volunteer's shift
- One complimentary general admission ticket for a return visit
Volunteers must be able to walk in the sand and tolerate the Florida heat. Sunscreen will be provided upon request.
High school students ages 15 and older are welcome to volunteer. Any volunteer younger than 18 years old must have parental permission. Volunteer hours can be applied to Bright Futures scholarships, so volunteers should bring Bright Futures forms to be signed upon completion of the shift.

The festival will feature the works of 14 sand sculptors from around the world, who will display their sculptures in a 21,000-square-foot structure using more than 1,000 tons of Clearwater sand.
