Pinellas County Schools 2017-18 Calendar

CLEARWATER, FL — While the kids might think it’s way too early to start talking about next school year, the truth is the first day is just around the corner. Parents who want to get a jump start on planning their schedules for the academic year ahead will find Patch has them covered.

Here are the important dates for kids enrolled in Pinellas County Schools for the 2017-18 academic year:

• First day of school, Aug. 10
• Labor Day holiday, Sept. 4
• End of first quarter, Oct. 13
• Nonstudent day, Oct. 16
• Thanksgiving, Nov. 18-26
• End of first semester, Dec. 22
• Winter Holidays, Dec. 23 through Jan. 7, 2018
• Nonstudent day, Jan. 8
• Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 15
• Nonstudent day, Feb. 19
• End of third quarter, March 9
• Nonstudent day, March 12
• Spring holidays, March 24 through April 1
• Students’ last day, May 24

Note: Possible hurricane makeup days have been set for Oct. 16 and Nov. 20, 2017.
